How is Angel Investors Anonymous Unique?
Real People: Angel networks are too often a "good-ol' boys" club made up of affluent (but pompous) members. That is not the case with Angel Investors Anonymous. Most of our investors are ordinary people who are interested in investing in local businesses and projects that make sense to them. You don't have to be a country club member to join Angel Investors Anonymous, just someone with the desire to help local businesses succeed.
Broad Opportunities: Many angel networks seek only investments in high-tech, high-growth companies that will return 5 to10 times their investment in three to seven years. While Angel Investors Anonymous certainly plays in that marketplace, investor members are also interested in many different types of opportunities. Among them are real estate development opportunities that might "only" return 8 to15 percent per year. Additionally, several investor members are willing to fund seed and start-up stage companies, albeit in more limited amounts.
